Ventura AYSO Region 39



We understand there are a number of reasons for which a family needs to cancel a registration.  
Any player who withdraws from the program shall be entitled to a refund of such registration fee.
Specific dates below shall be adhered to in order to correctly respond and apply refund requests. The refund dates have taken into consideration unrecoverable costs which may include but are not limited to player insurance, uniforms and other such fees.
All cancellations are subject to a $15 Processing Fee.  

Non-Refundable Fees - NO EXCEPTIONS
     * The National AYSO Membership Fee of $20.00
     * Transaction / Processing Fees
Your agreement to this policy was acknowledged when you registered your child.  
Therefore any refunds issued will be less these fees.
Transaction Fees are non-refundable.

Notification to Cancel Registration and Refund Requests 
To notify the Region that you wish to cancel your child's registration and to request a refund, CLICK HERE.
The registering parent/guardian is required to complete the Cancellation/Refund Request Form in order to process any cancellation or refund. Forms are timed stamped at the time that they are submitted electronically.
Please allow three to four weeks for processing of all cancellations and refunds. 
Refunds will be issued by check.  All checks expire six months from the date that they are written.  

Please note:
NO Refunds will be issued to players who have participated in practice before the start of the first game - no exceptions.
Refund Policy rules apply for those parents requesting refunds for not being placed with a specific coach, a specific practice location, broken bone or injury of any kind,  or not understanding that Spring season is only played on Sunday.


Fall Refund Policy

Before August 1
Cancellation/Refund Request Form must be submitted no later than July 31 11:59:59
Full Refund less the $20 National AYSO Membership Fee, $15 Processing Fee and transactions fee. 

August 1 - 14

Partial Refund - 50% less the less the $20 National AYSO Membership Fee, $15 Processing   Fee and transactions fee. 
        Entire Uniform (Jersey, Shorts & Socks) must be returned unused if distributed.  

No refunds will be issued after August 14th.

Region 39 COVID-19 Policy

There is much uncertainty at this time due to the COVID-19 virus, and we recognize that some of our families may be hesitant about registering at this time.  Region 39 has laid out a refund policy in the event we're not able to hold a season or if we must discontinue play once the season has started.

Cancellation & Refund Request Form

Please be aware of cancellation deadlines as outlined in our Refund Policy.

Fall Refund Deadlines

A $15 Processing Fee will be charged on all cancellations.

COVID-19 Policy

 

Effective May 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021

Ventura AYSO – Region 39 understands the concerns of our community regarding the global pandemic caused by COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  While we are eager to get back out on the pitch, we assure you that the health and safety of our players, volunteers and supporters is our top priority.  Still, we recognize that some families may be hesitant to complete the Fall 2020 registration at this time.  It is for that reason we have established the Region 39 COVID-19 Policy.  Families may rest assured that in the event our organization is unable to provide a full season we will issue refunds as outlined below.

Region 39 will continue to monitor this ever-evolving situation and will follow all guidelines set forth by our National Board of Directors as well as, State, and local Health Departments.  While it is our intention to hold a traditional 10 week season for our 6U – 19U divisions and 6 weeks for our 4U and 5U divisions it may become necessary to cut the season short. 

In the event that Region 39 is unable to start our Fall 2020 Season:
A full refund, less the $2.75 transaction fee, will be issued. 
Refund includes local registration fee plus $20 National Membership Fee
No practices or games have taken place, no uniforms issued


Once practices have begun:
We are unable to issue refunds for the $20 National Player Fee.
Refund includes the local registration fee.
No games have taken place, no uniforms issued.

In the event the season is called after:

  • In most cases the “local registration fee” is $76.25 (6U-19U) or $56.25 (4U & 5U).

  • No refunds will be issued on unpaid registrations.

  • No refunds will be issued for the $2.75 transaction fee.

  • No refunds will be issued for uniforms after Game 1, even if never worn.

AYSO is a non-profit organization.  We strive to be as fair as possible and we thank you for your understanding of the need for this policy during this time.
